Terms of use

Just Pitch In provides free online sign-up sheets for group coordination. Organizers create sheets and share a link; guests sign up for slots without an account. The service is provided free of charge, funded by optional tips and affiliate links.

Creating a sheet requires an organizer account, authenticated by an emailed sign-in link. You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your email access secure.

Organizers may additionally share a secret "manage link" that grants editing access to a sheet — treat it like a password; anyone holding it can manage that event.

You own the content you post — event details, slot descriptions, and names. By creating a public sheet you grant us the right to store and display that content to anyone holding the link, which is the point of the service.

Publishing a template publicly grants other users permission to reuse its slot list as a starting point for their own sheets.

Don't use the service for anything that is:

• Illegal, fraudulent, or deceptive
• Harassing, hateful, or harmful
• Spam, bulk automated abuse, or attempts to break rate limits
• Collecting personal data about others without a legitimate need

We may remove content, block IP addresses, or suspend accounts that violate these rules. Rate-limit violations are logged and repeat offenders are blocked automatically.

The optional group password is a convenience gate, not a vault — it keeps casual visitors out of a sheet but shouldn't be relied on for genuinely sensitive information. Don't put confidential data (health details, financial info, anything you wouldn't want leaked) on a sign-up sheet.

Tips are optional one-time payments processed by Stripe. They support the service and are not purchases of goods or services — they're generally non-refundable except where required by law.

Supply links point to third-party retailers (currently Amazon). Purchases may earn us a commission at no extra cost to the buyer. We don't control or endorse those sites and aren't responsible for their content, prices, or policies.

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee uptime, error-free operation, or that your group will actually show up with the paper plates. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us — which for a free service is typically zero.
