Nobody should need a spreadsheet for a potluck.
Every group has the same problem: someone volunteers to organize, then spends the next two weeks chasing replies in a group chat. Who's bringing drinks? Did anyone grab plates? Is someone covering the 3pm shift?
Just Pitch In is the simplest version of the answer: make a sign-up sheet, send one link, watch it fill. Guests never create accounts — they tap a slot and type their name. Organizers get a free account so nothing is ever lost.
How it stays free
The site has no ads and no subscription. It's supported two ways, and we're upfront about both:
- Optional tips. When a sheet fills up — the moment an organizer feels the relief — we ask once if they'd like to leave a small tip. It's always optional and never blocks anything.
- Supply links. When a sheet mentions things people might need to buy (plates, ice, cones), we link to them. Purchases through those links may earn us a small commission at no extra cost to the buyer.
What we believe
Friction is the enemy of help. Every extra account, download, or form field is a person who doesn't sign up. Guests do the minimum; organizers carry the structure.
Your data is yours. Guest emails go only to the organizer. We don't sell data, run ad trackers, or email anyone who didn't ask for it.
Simple beats complete. Sign-up sheets are a solved problem everywhere except usability. We'd rather do one thing well than everything poorly.
Who made this
Just Pitch In is built by the small team behind Tethered in Faith, a community platform for churches. The tool is deliberately neutral — it works for a youth group, a neighborhood, a classroom, or a company the same way.
